About my therapy practice:
I have extensive experience working with people who are LGBTQ+, polyamorous/ENM, neurodivergent, sex workers, disabled, kink-identified, and HIV positive. Some of the issues I can help you cope with include low self-esteem, intrusive thoughts, loneliness, past trauma, and difficult relationships with family members. My style is non-judgmental and collaborative to help bring about the changes you are seeking. Additionally, I am an out trans person, and I love working with other trans people and those who have trans loved ones in their lives.
The main methods I use are narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing. I specialize in applying an anti-oppressive framework to CBT and other therapy models, and working with clients who are coping with anxiety, depression, gender dysphoria, and C-PTSD.
Entering into therapy with a new practitioner can be intimidating. I strive to make this process as comfortable and rewarding as possible. I believe in patient autonomy and transparency around the therapeutic process. Together, we will endeavor to find a therapeutic model that best suits your needs.
